Today we launched the first big TV ad of the AG’s race. I’ve spent my career standing up for working families by battling the Goliaths in our lives. The people of CO need a lawyer who’s going to take back the American Dream from corrupt politicians & billionaires. Join me w/ your vote on June 30th.

Zohran Mamdani and the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection have announced a "Click to Cancel" rule.

The rule would make NYC the first city in the nation to ban subscription traps and force companies to make it just as easy to cancel subscriptions as it is to enroll.

If Wisconsin was a bellwether for the national expansion of reactionary politics, it may now be a symbol of things swinging the other way.

BREAKING:
7 former Jena Griswold staffers just went public. Bullying. Retaliation. ABUSE. NDAs to cover it up.

Jena wants to be Colorado's Attorney General but she is unqualified. If Democrats are serious about workers, we CANNOT allow Jena to move forward as a candidate

The pride of Colorado Law!

1 month ago 2 0 1 0

At Denver caucus last night, there was strong support for @seligmanforag.bsky.social. I heard questions to Griswold supporters about her lack of meaningful legal experience when running for the top lawyer in the state. Almost nothing said about Daugherty or Doshi the entire night--two-person race?

Important thread about the rising trend of surveillance pricing—corporations setting their prices to extract the maximum amount each consumer will pay based on your personal data.

If you’re in Colo. and concerned about this, check out David Seligman’s campaign for AG @seligmanforag.bsky.social

Here are the progressives who are most important to me in this race:

* David Seligman for attorney general, who has spent his life standing up for people against corporations and wants to prosecute ICE

* Julie Gonzales for Senator, who wants to abolish ICE and get Medicare for All.

Just compare the information on their websites, and it's night and day. Seligman is talking specifics about curbing corporate abuse and she is not.

He has THOUGHT about this.

Third, I do not get the sense that she wants to be AG as anything other than a stepping stone for further ambitions. She is not talking about policy. She isn't talking about corporate abuse. She's very generically saying "I will stand up to Trump."

2 months ago 18 1 1 0

First, she has not committed to prosecuting ICE for misconduct.

Second, do you know why her name was on the ballot in Anderson v. Griswold? It wasn't because she was standing up to Trump. It was because she was being sued because she did not do so.

This. So much more of this.

Thanks, @daveyseligman.bsky.social.

Prosecuting ICE’s Goons Will Be Hard—but Not Impossible To a growing number of Americans, the necessity of holding the fashy agency to account is becoming obvious. Better start planning how to do it now.

In @newrepublic.com, I try to take a substantive look at the issue of local prosecutors bringing charges against federal immigration agents, partly via Zephyr Teachout, who started talking about it almost eight years ago. Also chatted with CO AG candidate David Seligman, who's taken up the mantle

Starbucks Workers United escalates strike during busy holiday season Starbucks Workers United is expanding the strike, but the company says it has not yet disrupted the key holiday season.

Remember: If unions didn’t matter, powerful corporations wouldn’t spend millions of dollars every year to stop workers from organizing. Solidarity with the thousands of unionized Starbucks workers who are on strike. Keep up the fight. www.cnbc.com/2025/11/20/s...

IMs/DMs/texts are even worse! (where you can get them). My jaw has hit the floor reviewing discovery over how little of a filter people have in those contexts. A treasure trove of prejudice, insecurity, and salacious personal information.

Trump Said to Demand Justice Dept. Pay Him $230 Million for Past Cases

Why should you care that the president’s appointees at DOJ, including his former personal attorneys, could decide whether he gets a $230M payout directly to him? Because that money is coming directly from all of us, the U.S. taxpayers.

NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

1/ A woman with dementia moves into an apartment in Colorado.

A few months later she passes away unexpectedly.

The family gets a bill for $4140. By dying, she “broke her lease early”

A landlord gone rogue?

No. It was a billionaire property management company called Greystar.

WSJ just retracted its report that the shooter’s ammo was engraved with “transgender and anti-fascist ideology.”

It smelled like bullshit from the beginning, and every conservative who ran with it should be shamed into obscurity.

What's up with Justice Jackson? She started making her mark and speaking out early, and some of her dissents are so pointed Kagan and Sotomayor don’t even join them. The far right is out for her, and even Republican justices are getting snarky.

So what's up? Here’s my take 🧵

I’m so excited this is now official. David is a good friend, a great attorney, and an even better person. He is the person we need to stand up for the rights of everyday Coloradans right now.

I'm David Seligman.
I’m running for CO Attorney General.
This campaign is about reclaiming our power from the billionaires who have stolen it from us, from working families. We will fight. And we will win. Because we love our country the core promise it made to us: The law belongs to us.
