None of us are perfect parents, we are responsible for our decisions while parenting. Your ADULT child may need to heal from how you “did your best” raising them. Take accountability to support the growth of the relationship.

“Not getting it right” doesn’t negate accountability. It gives insight on why you made your decision. Ultimately, you’re still responsible for them.
