This gathering is designed to be discussion-forward, accessible, and gentle while making space for hard, necessary conversations. You don’t need to be an academic, a theorist, or an expert- just someone willing to listen, think, and share in community. Come ready for thoughtful conversation!

Lorde’s writing is sharp, poetic, and deeply human - asking us to examine how systems of oppression shape our lives, and how honesty, care, and self-definition can become acts of resistance. These essays invite reflection not just on the world as it is, but on how we show up for one another.

Lavender Library is a queer book club centered on thoughtful reading, deep conversation, and shared reflection. In February, we’ll be reading Sister Outsider, Audre Lorde’s essential collection of essays on identity, power, anger, silence, difference, and survival.

Wicked Munch:

Curious about our Members Only events like "Bodice Ripper", but not sure how they work, or who to attend with? Or maybe you're just looking for an excuse to eat some good food in better company? Either way, we've got you covered, boo. Ain't no pre-party like a Munch pre-party!

The biggest risk in this moment is something sociologists call “symbolic compliance.”

That’s when an institution that is violating civil rights gives the public just enough symbolic victories that accountability efforts lose steam before there has been any meaningful change.

Cybertopia IS happening! Our information has the snowstorm hitting predominantly AFTER our event closes.

We will only cancel this event if there is a level 2 emergency or higher by 4pm tomorrow. We don't cancel for "maybe."

The revolution will not be stopped. 🫶🏻

The Autonomy Project will be on break from December 22nd through January 5th.

As a volunteer-run organization, rest is part of how we take care of each other. This time off gives our volunteers space to breathe, reconnect, and recharge after a full year of showing up for community.

Supportive community is where we get to practice telling the truth.

Where “I’m fine” can become: “I need support,” “I’m overwhelmed,” “I’m human.”
And instead of rejection, you’re met with care.

Because here, you don’t have to carry it all alone. 💜

Audiences are fun for concerts. But they don’t build community.

Community is alive when you participate: when you bring your energy, your presence, your creativity into the mix. That’s what makes our spaces safer, braver, and more alive.

Our Munch is back—and it’s bringing gyros and STI testing too.

Join us for a low-pressure, high-vibe night of queer connection, grilled meats, mutual aid, and actual community care. No scenes, no dress code, no weird power dynamics, just folks showing up to connect and build something better.
