I don’t remember him doing. I just remember the voice, the dancing. Unbelievable stage presence.
Omg, it’s so hard to explain. I saw them first at Futurama in Leeds. Me and my friend just looked at each other in awe. Ian Curtis was mesmerising, unbelievable. Then we saw them support Buzzcocks. They had such a massive effect on me, the songs still give me goosebumps.
The best time to be a teenager for sure!
Yup I’m ancient but as the saying goes ‘I may be old but I got to see all the cool bands’. The gigs I went to in 78/79 will never be beaten, including Joy Division twice, Bowie, and The Clash and Siouxsie so many times I don’t even know how many 🤷🏻♀️
