Grandma would have been 89 today. I miss her sass. I miss her cursive notes. But most of all, I miss her.

A friend sent me this tonight. I tried for a bit to respond with the typical upbeat reply they might have been looking for, but I couldn’t find the words. I don’t do NYE resolutions, but if I did mine would be “accept silence when you don’t have the words.”

I miss my grandma so much. It’s so odd to not plan Christmas with her. If you see this, please hold your favorite person close, and tell them how much you love them.

I’d normally be crying uncontrollably by the ending of todays episode of Heated Rivalry. My emotions haven’t been correct since grandma died. I simply don’t give any fucks.

I lost my favorite person yesterday. There is a very special bond between a grandmother and her favorite grandson that few people get to experience. I am so very happy I got to experience it with her. I got to see her last Wednesday, and will always remember her last words to me, “I love you too.”
