Your iPhone can do it in night mode. Set to 10 second exposure time and hold it still. Using a tripod works best.

Outside and having some fun on a nice evening. There’s a nice clear and dark sky here tonight. Lots of stars visible to the camera lens. This is a 10-second exposure so for a lot of these stars, you can’t see them with the naked eye.
