A 3D printed Tyrannosaurus Rex head mounted on a plaque, like a taxidermy trophy, with "T. REX" labeled underneath.
Two 3D printed Godzilla busts; one is fully painted, the other is unpainted, made of glow-in-the-dark filament.
A 3D printed Godzilla bust (from the arms up) made with silk white filament.
I'm just using Blender for 3D printing, but for the record, you're looking at total amateur hour on my part.
...Well, maybe 2-3 hours for each.
But point being, don't be afraid to mess around with it. And there are plenty other non-donut tutorials out there to help.

Super Animal Royale is more fun anyway.
Empire Sky Studio's Pacific Rim Jaeger model kits. Crimson Typhoon, Striker Eureka, Lady Danger, and Cherno Alpha. The set also included display bases/stands, as well as the transport helicopters that carry the Jaegers into battle.
Phew, finally got 'em all put together. What an incredible set!

I got comms open if any of y'all want a super cool godzilla like this for yourselves ๐
Screenshot of Tomodachi Life: Livin' the Dream showcasing a Godzilla Mii in the Mii creation menu. The Godzilla head is very detailed as it was painted using the face paint feature.
Same screenshot, but cropped to show only the Mii close up.
After a couple hours of painstaking painting without a pen, I'm happy with the newest resident!
Used @almightyrayzilla.bsky.social art as reference.
Hell yeah!
A casting sheet revealing the voice actor for Rassoln, a purple psittacosaurus character from Neo-Meso Post. The character looks rather disgruntled, side-eying the viewer while holding onto a scroll. Text: Neo-Meso Post CAST AMAURY CACIMAR as Rassoln
Happy #dinosaurday! We have our first major announcement for Short 3!
Weโre happy to welcome @redclawdraws.bsky.social to the team as the grouchy psittacosaurus, Rassoln (rah-shohln) !!
More updates to come!!
I'd lean towards trolling. It's the attitude they're exhibiting. For them to imply that fan art is no different than bootleg movies and to act this snide about it...it's a power trip
Hell, given how many kaiju fans I've encountered this year already, a kaiju-centric con in the Midwest really would do well.
Yeah, emphasis on "quietly". I just asked randomly on Facebook about it last month because the dates just came and went, and I hadn't heard a peep. And agreed, somewhere in the Midwest, like Chicago or St. Louis would be pretty ideal locations for a kaiju con.
Yep! That's pretty much what I miss of G-Fest.
AMA was fantastic in 2023. Last year...it was fine (meeting Kevin Clash was the best), but the shift to focus on TMNT was bizarre. And this year, it got quietly canceled (presumably because a lot of the guests couldn't make it).
Cons have clauses about fan art in their contracts, usually amounting to "as long as you made it yourself" and "if the IP holders say something, leave us out of it".
This isn't about character licensing, it's about a convention that holds resentment for artists (for some damn reason).
I've had my thoughts in the past, but here's a thread that sums up why I'll never go back. The sheer animosity towards artists and people asking legitimate questions as to why fan art prints aren't allowed is BAFFLING.
Hey Red-Fans! Weโre auctioning off an extremely rare Redman Volume 3 to raise money for our friendโs medical bills!
Please consider bidding and keep fighting the Red Fight!
Steamboat Willie.
Minus One.
And in response to it, here's that time I made a feathered Godzilla based on a penguin.
(*searches profile* Good lord, I never posted this to Bluesky before?)

new Godzilla trailer!!!!
An acrylic painting of Kong locked in battle with a Tyrannosaurus (deliberately depicted as a three-fingered "retrosaur") in one of the jungles of Skull Island. Kong has one hand on the dinosaur's throat, pushing the powerful jaws away from himself, while the big lizard has one of its feet pressed into Kong's body, trying to throw all its weight on him. (2025)
An acrylic painting of Knifehead (a giant creature with a long, blade-shaped snout) and Lady Danger (a Jaeger, a humanoid robot controlled by two pilots) engaging in combat in the sea. Rolling waves are up to their hips. A bolt of lightning crackles in the background, in the center of the piece. (2024)
An acrylic painting of Golden Bat, the world's first superhero, with his arch nemesis, Dr. Nazo, looming above him. Golden Bat himself is a golden-clad humanoid with a skull for a face, wearing a flowing red cape, wielding his Silver Baton. Dr. Nazo is a shadowy figure with four eyes (blue, red, green, and yellow), and a metallic claw for a left hand. (2023)
An acrylic painting - technically two 5x7 panel canvases - of Gamera and Iris, standing amidst flames, in reference to the 1999 film when they stare each other down before engaging in a vicious battle in Kyoto. (2023)

Yes, Toho kinda has a rule that there should only be one Godzilla at a time, so maybe it's likely he will mutate further. But honestly, I dunno what to expect, so...we'll see.
