As the crew of the Artemis II returns from the far side of the moon, it feels appropriate to remind folks of Humboldt's own lunar legacy.

In 1971, redwood seeds traveled with Apollo 14 as part of an experiment. In 1976, a handful of seeds made their way to our campus, where they still grow today!

The fire in downtown Arcata was heartbreaking, but the response has shown the resilience of this community. Arcata shows up for its neighbors, and you can support ongoing recovery efforts right here, right now.

We are partnering with Humboldt Made. Any amount helps.
