Hard not to be pleased for Auckland after their equally mad matches against Bayern and Benfica!
Posts by Statto Bets
Auckland shared the points despite just three shots, combined to just 0.2 xG, but generating 0.87 OnTarget xG thanks to Christian Gray
They did score - but it was from an Own Goal!
The xG was more crazy. Their 41 shots generated an xG of 2.42, but the OnTarget xG was just 0.96. That was largely down to all the misses and blocks of course.
But of those 41 shots, only 10 reached the target. 21 were off target (including three hitting the woodwork), and a further 10 were blocked.
So Auckland v Boca Juniors was mad last night.
Firstly, Boca took 41 shots in the match - a complete domination in terms of box action
As Leicester wave goodbye to Jamie Vardy, spare a thought for Fleetwood who inserted a 20% sell on clause back in 2012. Arsenal matched the release clause at £22m which you have yielded £4.4m for Fleetwood only to see him stay with Leicester!
Chris Dobey has the lowest 2025 Premier League average - just 94.93 this season and has only gone over 100 in one of his 13 matches thus far.
Stephen Bunting has faced the highest "opponent" average in this years PL - his opponents averaging 100.29 against him this season overall.
Despite his challenging results he's also been the second best 180 hitting in the competition - 0.38 per leg and won the Most 180s in 5 of his 11 matches
Michael van Gerwen has lost nine of their last ten meetings, but I actually think he is being underrated in today's market at 2.64. There just isn't that much between MvG and Luke Humphries. Should be a great match.
That was a pretty mad demolition job from Cheltenham Town last night against Salford. It ended 4-0, and it was absolutely a 4-0 match. What an away performance. Yes it was against 10 men, but it was impressive.
Midweek selections are available on my @bettingemporium.bsky.social column. Four selections published early in League Two.
Other divisions will follow
I think both the 180s lines are too high in the Wade v Rock match. Both have done great but we should expect more normal numbers from them as an expectation
Selections posted for Night 4 of the Premier League Darts over at Betting Emporium
Swindon 1-0 Chesterfield
A penalty won it. Chesterfield achieved nothing of note. This was only ever going one way. Swindon continue that march upwards.
Port Vale 2-1 Salford
At the glance you might think Salford deserved something, but most of their xG came from penalty, also helped by game state. Port Vale bossed this
Notts C 2-1 Tranmere
Tranmere badly need to find some wins and it looks like they snatched defeat from the jaws of at least a point. Definitely deserve more.
Newport 0-3 Cheltenham
Newport desperately unlucky to lose this one by three. Clinical finishes decided it but the game was much closer than it appeared
Grimsby 2-1 Fleetwood
Fortunate for the Mariners. Maybe a draw would have been fair?
Colchester 1-1 Port Vale
Tovide equalised for Colchester in the final minute but it was no more than they deserved. Its draw number 315 for U though this season
Carlisle 0-0 Gillingham
We backed Carlisle and its frustrating to see them not get the points here. They probably should have and we comfortably beat the off price. Would have the bet again in a heartbeat
Bromley 2-0 Harrogate
I watched this one - Harrogate had plenty of shots but you never once felt they were going to score. Bromley were efficient - on another day perhaps it ends 0-0, 1-0 but they never looked in trouble
Bradford won this with ease, only allowing MK a bit of the action when the game was all over. 2-0. Easy
Accrington 1-2 Doncaster
Two shots on target in the entire match and Over 2.5 lands 🤣
Donny fortunate to take home the points perhaps

Morecambe 0-2 Walsall
Felt like Morecambe gave this one a real go. Everything points to them deserving something from the game
League Two round up
Take the penalty out and Crewe were well flattered with 3-0 but deserved their win.
Put up Notts County earlier, so very disappointing to see the teams a lot weaker than expected. No McGoldrick is a blow, and Jones also out. They have depth though, so hoping they can still make it happen!
Never noticed before just how tiny Exeter goalkeeper Joe Whitworth is!
Its not really a fair fight is it.
We're published already for both Thursday's Premier League Darts and also Tuesday's League Two action over on Betting Emporium.
Early Bird gets the worms as they say!
Match markets not up yet, but I do think Luke Humphries is too short in the Week 1 winner market at 1.4 ahead of the final. I reckon 1.6 pre-bull-off is more like the right price over this short ish format
