Chris Goreham gets man of the match for yesterday based on this moment alone.
We’ve got super Phillipe Clement, he’ll take us to the premier league.

That was good. Four goals right in front of the away fans. Also, I need to know who’s done these *excellent* anti-Ipswich/Farage stickers. What a legend you are.
They have GOT to better differentiate between how a ref signals for a penalty and how they signal for a goal kick.
Impressions so far: Bristol is very nice. Might revise that opinion in a couple hours.
First year in a while when this hasn't felt a bit sarcastic. Jovon Makama for me but think it will go to Kenny. www.canaries.co.uk/content/voti...
Hot dog!
This is the way.
We’ve massively missed a player like Jovon. It’s got to be top of the shopping list in the summer.
5. The display pre-match was top stuff especially the
One City Strong surfer. But whoever decided the yellow and green cards to hold up should be A4 instead of A3 needs to have a word with themselves.
4. Despite the sensational recovery, the games against Leeds and yesterday show we aren’t yet able to compete with prem relegation fodder let alone the big teams. It’s for the best we’ve fallen short of play offs—there’s a lor more work to be done in the summer than I’d previously realised.
3. Núñez was an embarrassment. I don’t want to say this because it’ll just seem like sour grapes. But if a Norwich player acted like that I’d be embarrassed by it. His whole performance was juvenile and unprofessional. I’m sure elements of their fans will love it of course and each to their own.
2. Even if we had been on it, the ref knackered the game. The pen decision was dire, really really dire. The significantly higher threshold for booking a player if they were already on a yellow was embarrassing. He had no control - eg at corners - and it really spoiled the game.
Calmed down enough to have a proper reflection on that game.
1. We were second best; despite huge possession, we never really looked threatening at any point. Corner after corner was borderline wasting time. Not enough urgency and no imagination to break down a packed defence.
Ipswich this week is it?
We’ve got super Philippe Clement / he knows exactly what we need / José at the back, Touré in attack / he’s taking us to the premier league.
Lots of Norwich fans rn
The @alongcomenorwich.bsky.social interview with Glen Riddersholm is every bit as brilliant as people are saying. What a lovely bloke - and such a thoughtful conversation. open.spotify.com/episode/54YZ...

Incredible story in the athletic showing that Ipswich Town lied about the circumstances of the Farage publicity stunt — he was a guest of the club and given vip treatment despite the club statement saying the opposite on the day. www.nytimes.com/athletic/714...

Coasted a bit in the second half and probably a bit lucky to keep a clean sheet but we were good enough throughout that you could officially chalk that win down as “comfortable”. No one in this league we can’t beat.
It is a glorious day.
