if you see a single liberal respond to this consent manufacturing process with 'well the cuban regime is bad....' please know that they are every bit as bloodthirsty and ready to see dead cuban children as this fucker and all of his fucking exiled plantations heir friends.

An organized workbench with a variety of hand tools carefully hung on a peg board and a well-labeled wall-mounted part bin organizer. This bench hasn’t been clear for years.

A well-labeled wall-mounted part bin organizer. On top of it are surprisingly complete drill bit indexes, a box for used blades, and screws that wouldn’t fit the bin organizer. I know a lot of ways of aligning dowels for joinery, but I’d never seen sets of dowel centering pins before. They live in the drawer that has center punches in it.

A well-organized peg board of hand tools with my grandparents’ wedding photo hung at the top left. My parents were both flabbergasted by the sudden order imposed on this wall. My dad started darting around excitedly throwing out things I’d left out for him to decide about keeping or throwing away then suddenly got worried that he didn’t know where a certain wrench was. I wordlessly pointed to it on the wall, with the other wrenches and began maniacally cackling.

A messy, disorganized workbench. This was the end of my first day working and my parents were overwhelmed by how much I had accomplished, thinking I was done. “I have not yet begun to fight” I replied.

Organizing my dad’s tools (most inherited from his dad) has been akin to cleaning out my mind palace, room by room. (Alt text recommended)

invite accepted, mind blown. BLKNWS is extraordinary on so many axes, not least of which is the almost unprecedented collaborative approach Kahlil Joseph took to adapt a video art installation into a feature film greg.org/archive/2026...
meanwhile, whose house is this, w/the David Hammons sculpture?

I could not have written something funnier than this in a million years. a $50 handkerchief that will be folded up and invisible in your pocket, with the bonus that you can pull it out and use it as a white flag

'I feel profoundly let down.'
Is Starmer's government mimicking the Tories and their '14 years of corruption and dishonesty'?
James O'Brien says he was 'perhaps naive' to think it would be any different.

It’s not like nobody told James they were like this: he was told over and over what it was he was buying and how these people behave. The problem was, he was told it by people he regards as intellectually, morally and socially inferior to him, so he could not hear any of it.

"As far as I'm concerned, "liberal" is the most meaningless word in the dictionary. History has shown me that as long as some white middle class people can live high on the hog, take vacations in Europe, send their children to private schools, and reap the benefits of their white skin privileges, then they are "liberals."
But when times get hard and money gets tight, they pull of that liberal mask and you're talking to Adolf Hitler. They feel sorry for the so called under privileged just as long as they can maintain their own privileges." – Assata Shakur.
