Per la prima volta da quando vengono effettuate rilevazioni sistematiche, in Turchia sono stati raggiunti e superati i 50 °C all'ombra (+50,5 °C per l'esattezza). Si tratta di osservazioni ufficiali e a norma.
Essere l'eccezione fresca è ormai questione di fortuna.

Nel Regno Unito Aprile 2025 è stato il più soleggiato della serie storica (1910), stessa cosa per Marzo. È stato il terzo aprile più caldo dal 1884 con uno scarto di +1.7 °C rispetto alla media 1991-2020, inoltre è risultato più secco della norma, con circa la metà della pioggia attesa.
