Just got home, & what a team we have. The only negative was managing to hit a deer at about 50mph between Ringwood & Fordingbridge. Had to drive the remaining 20 miles home at 20mph peering at the road over the top of the partially popped & bent bonnet 🤣 #lufc

Probably a better view than I’ll have at Wembley on Sunday 🤣 #lufc

Snap! That was a lovely afternoon

Yep, but down to Bournemouth first and like Daniel, I’m focusing on that, then I’ll think about Wembley 🤣
I was born & brought up in Bournemouth and went to my first football match at Dean Court in ‘74. But by then I was already Leeds and I’ve got no time for the uppity little fuckers.

To a large extent I agree. If we can go for it & win at scum, why not there & secure our PL status? Imagine then how we’ll feel on Sunday. I’m one of the handful of away supporters allowed there on Wednesday so personally hoping for a magnificent evening. But expecting a degree of caution on show

Just want to thank the lads at @thesquareball.net for reading out my ‘like’ from the scum game on the weekly show. Listened on the drive up today for Wolves, was so shocked nearly lost control on the M1 (not on a Lambretta tho). Is this what fame feels like? #lufc

Fingers crossed. I decided to drive today for only 2nd time this season otherwise I’d be where you are. Luckily though just arrived to the warm embrace of the Stourton Park&Ride.

The enduring memory of a night at Elland Road I’ve tried to forget but have never been able to. The match v Blackpool in 2011 when we lost 5-0 at home to Blackpool from my ticket history. The ridiculous thing is I worked in London, lived in Dorset and manufactured a meeting in Harrogate that day for absolutely no reason with an overnight stay on expenses so I could to to the game. The universe then punished me, and the rest if you.

It’s my reward for being there for this 🤣

Agree, I’m 18mths into properly learning French, lessons and everything, and just being put on the spot in a class of 7 by having to (eg) talk through what I did at the weekend brings me out in a cold sweat. Although je suis allé à Leeds is often the opening line.

21.00 FILM: SAVING PRIVATE RYANAIR
Harrowing war drama about a brave company of soldiers to should be on the beaches of Normandy but have been diverted to Brittany and must now board a five-hour bus to get to the right place, whilst their weapons and supplies are somehow in Tenerife.

Last one, promise, Superfly Records, very good - but for some reason we didn’t go last year. Metro Réaumur -Sébastopol. Maybe a bit expensive I seem to remember.

Oh, forgot, found this place last time, I liked it better than my son did though; Shelter Record Store , metro Villiers/Place de Clichy

Agree Crocodisc worth a look, new stuff in a FNAC branch is OK - the one near the Ternes metro was good last year. Gibert Disque Musique on the Bd Saint-Michele also. Me and the boy visit once a year buying records and will be there next month as well. Bien amicalement, Ray

Salut, Lucky Records (metro Hôtel de Ville) often has a few good bits - look in the record store section as well. Illogical Records (metro Blanche) also, but the bloke in there can be a bit annoying.

Leeds make history in rare Old Trafford win but the real loser isn’t Man Utd Manchester United 1-2 Leeds: Daniel Farke’s side picked up their first league win at Old Trafford since 1981 to take a huge step towards survival

This is better, more accurate and gives us the credit we deserve. #lufc

Not sure his current employers, or their fans, will be too happy with that considering the relative league positions 🤣

Farkelsa Ball stuff in that first half, just astonishing. Not one of the other teams below us could put in a performance like that right now. If we do the same on Saturday we’ll be fine.

Leeds United played exactly 1,919 league matches between our last two league wins at Old Trafford in February 1981 and tonight. A fairly significant number in our history! #lufc
