So glad to be able to layer down again! Not going to miss winter
I've gotten tacos from there multiple times and they have normal sized portions, but I think it's something about burritos that makes them so easy to supersize 😂
Look at this big boi!
The latter! Hahaha
I am in the land of spam musubi and I'm thankful for the culinary innovation that produced it!
I got a $15 burrito a few days ago that was bigger than many adult cats I've petted 😭 It took me four sittings to finish
It's a little annoying to admit that a Patagonia jacket on sale is actually really worth the price

Cascadia and its weird climate haha
Hi whomst in DC next month
"I brush your teeth"?
Yeah I need big city life, lots of options for things to see/do, and lots of people out on the streets. Even Seattle feels too small TBH.
Oh I lived in the Midwest in the 90s but haven't been back since. But except for Chicago the cities are too small for me haha
Haha I'm not a fan of rainy weather or dark skies, but I do like the thick forests here. I don't like how cold and unfriendly the local culture is either... Summer is great tho! I'm back to my India wardrobe which is something I was waiting to do :)
Haha yes, in September! I'm in Seattle now.
Tomorrow's going to be my first day with 30 degree weather since moving to the US. Wild!
Something I like about life in the US is that it's pretty easy to be the best dressed dude in any given room 98% of the time (ok maybe not in NYC)
I don't think it does, I think it just disperses and is lost forever. We saw this with Mastodon too.
Made kale chips (easy) for a relative's lunch party and the kids loved them huhuhu
I agree in principle but like how much advocacy can one do? And I can only suggest it to friends. Twitter has years of networks built in that can't be replicated so easily.
I wish I could break my habit of turning to Twitter when I want to engage with a larger audience outside just my friends. But no other platform matches its reach, or crucially, its diversity really. Bluesky is too American!!
I still remember my experience dining at O Pedro, BKC (Bombay) very fondly.
Does anyone on my list have friends in Vancouver BC who can host a visitor for a couple of days
NEWS: Last night, the Department of Homeland Security detained a Palestinian who helped lead the Columbia encampment.
Agents told him his visa was revoked. He said he had a green card. They were confused—then said that was revoked too.
His attorney demanded a warrant. Agents hung up instead.
I wish North America were smaller so I could visit my friends more often :( Plus most people I know are on the East coast or closer to it. I
Slowly, steadily, I'm making friends I can hang out with in the gloomy city of Seattle. "Community" however, remains elusive.
