I've gotten tacos from there multiple times and they have normal sized portions, but I think it's something about burritos that makes them so easy to supersize 😂

I got a $15 burrito a few days ago that was bigger than many adult cats I've petted 😭 It took me four sittings to finish

It's a little annoying to admit that a Patagonia jacket on sale is actually really worth the price

Yeah I need big city life, lots of options for things to see/do, and lots of people out on the streets. Even Seattle feels too small TBH.

Oh I lived in the Midwest in the 90s but haven't been back since. But except for Chicago the cities are too small for me haha

Haha I'm not a fan of rainy weather or dark skies, but I do like the thick forests here. I don't like how cold and unfriendly the local culture is either... Summer is great tho! I'm back to my India wardrobe which is something I was waiting to do :)

Something I like about life in the US is that it's pretty easy to be the best dressed dude in any given room 98% of the time (ok maybe not in NYC)

I don't think it does, I think it just disperses and is lost forever. We saw this with Mastodon too.

I agree in principle but like how much advocacy can one do? And I can only suggest it to friends. Twitter has years of networks built in that can't be replicated so easily.

I wish I could break my habit of turning to Twitter when I want to engage with a larger audience outside just my friends. But no other platform matches its reach, or crucially, its diversity really. Bluesky is too American!!

Slowly, steadily, I'm making friends I can hang out with in the gloomy city of Seattle. "Community" however, remains elusive.
