Yes and no. It is normal to own stock, something like 62% of American adults do own stock, but that leaves a heck of a lot of "normal" Americans who don't and thus are not (directly at least) making any money off these market gains.

This seems like wishful thinking? Markets are up relative to his election or to his inauguration. One could argue that the rich would be even richer if he hadn't been screwing around with the world economy but that's a thin argument considering everything else the ultra wealthy are getting...
