In my opinion, the worst thing about the Democrats, structurally, is that they changed their policies to become radically less democratic in 1980, making it much, much harder to shift it from corporatism.

Just as a matter of practicality, more elected Democrats support the reforms to *undo* the awful two-party system than do Republicans by a pretty wide margin.

I'm pretty happy to be there!

Also just a shout-out to the @motorcityfurrycon.org accessibility team who are great people and did a wonderful job of everything, as far as I could tell.

MCFC had an 'attendee break room' and it was honestly great just to have a dimly lit, comfortable spot to curl up in and relax or take a nap. So this sounds like a wonderful idea.

*Well*. I hope you don't mind me saying this. But some of the pictures you've posted have had the effect on me of going "Oh, they're chubby and cute? That means even though I'm chubby I might be able to be cute, too?" and inspired me to actually start thinking about good things about my body.

I wouldn't mind building something to celebrate when we finally get rid of him in a couple years.

Something *tasteful* though. Maybe sculpture of Columbia, Uncle Sam, and The Statue of Liberty riding him out of town on a rail.

Err, USB HOST, pardon me.

Yes! They had a tiny USB hub in the middle.

They made A-to-A cables for file transfer at one point.

I was so disappointed to find out they didn't give you an Ethernet device or serial link to run PPP over on both.

I used to run a dual monitor setup with one horizontal and one vertical. I'd read email and formatted PDFs on the vertical. I never really had any problems, but I also just…don't use many web apps.

Plus not-exactly-rectangular displays that work well feel slightly magical ;)

I have within the past year got ears and tail for the first time.

It's nice to be obviously part of the group when you're going to a movie together, partly so it's easy to find each other if you get separated. And it's fun to dress up!

It was weird but not terrible.

I was raised on chicken and dumplings where the dumplings were torn up biscuits in a tube.

I've tried making the proper kind, but to my slight embarrassment, I don't like them as much ;)
