“Fixing” zoning or any housing plan that doesn’t incorporate wages of workers doesn’t solve the problem holistically. Needs to be a fixed wages and benefits so those building housing can afford to live in it + strong enforcement

A NYC housing plan is at best incomplete if it doesn’t talk about the construction workers involved in building all that housing.

I’ve written policy platforms. It’s not that hard to throw a paragraph together on labor standards - even just to pander.
