Virtual Reality Gaming: Perspectives on Immersion, Embodiment and Presence This volume contains an Open Access Chapter. Offering a comprehensive and research-oriented survey of the complexities of VR gaming, emphasising immersion,

Digging into this edited volume on VR gaming from @leightonevans.bsky.social, and it's exactly what I've been looking for in terms of a teaching resource, even as VR gaming is sorta stalling out, lots of material in here helpful for understanding what went wrong.

He was at the game last week! In fairness, bet he hadn't heard of us. He's not putting any money in, so I'm not fussed. Wrexham were nowhere until being bankrolled, with good reasons. Snoop is a PR stunt by a club that's been at this level or above for 2 decades.

We're not playing a football team, we're playing the set of a mediocre entertainment documentary on Disney+. Wrexham's rivals are Bluey, Marvel films and Mickey Mouse, not us. Still, probably a home win. Hard to beat a team with an unlimited budget that still gets the council to build their ground.

Still plenty of time, and Leicester are a worse shambles!

They need to hold out for big bucks to scare people off. Β£25m minimum. No short change! Confident about the baggies staying up? Still think they are too good to go down

Needs a bit of time I guess, but Mason seemed to lose his way totally. Hopefully an improvement soon

Needs to be better in team selection, but better than what came before! How's the new WBA manager?

We should slap a huge transfer fee on him - Β£50m minimum πŸ˜‚ his goals to chances ratio is insane, he's incredibly clinical. Superb striker

They're fine, better than the last lot! Need another RB, winger with pace and end product and a proper 10. Mid table this season though, proper pre season next time and we'll improve. Previous manager and coaches ignored fitness, we're still hanging on in games. WBA will be fine too πŸ‘

Two poor teams, bad game, comical end to the shoot out was just about right for it. Best forgotten but good luck to WBA in the next round πŸ‘

No snow down here so should be on. I'd guess two second string teams, in front of about 3k crowd. No clue who wins? πŸ™‚ don't think either would fancy a cup run

We've definitely had a new manager boost

Our form full stop has been worse! Threw away a 2 goal lead at the Hawthorns.

League on new year's day, cup the Sunday after I think

Much needed, good performance but still struggling for goals. Better on the whole though. Next home game vs the Albion!

Another dreadful performance, it's shockingly bad and I don't trust the board to fix this. We need someone experienced and competent. Someone like Dycge would have been ideal

I know he was being considered back in the summer. Young, at a data driven club which is the model we want, plays attractive possession football. Personally I'd like experience of strong championship/promotion, but I wouldn't be against him

Not Brenda!! Carrick would be good but I suspect the board already has someone in mind

5 months ago 1 1 1 0

Nope. We're hopeless. Our attacking shape and process is dreadful. Slow, predictable and painful to watch. If we lose I expect a new manager in the international break. Nice guy but tactically inept. Who have you got?

In the dark Welsh valley,
On the mountain side,
Lay the little children,
Close to where they died.
Their little lives are ended,
Before they reach their goal,
Tender little children,
Have paid the price of coal.

Wales would make Liechtenstein look like Brazil 1970 on this performance

Baggies still going really well, I'm pencilling them in top 6

6 months ago 0 0 1 0

We got exposed on Saturday. We don't create enough, can't match up for 90 against a team with better individuals. All points to tactics and selection being poor. We've improved as a squad, but I'm sceptical that our coaches can bring the best from them. Money well spent could still be wasted

Play offs I think, maybe top 2. Going really well πŸ‘

We don't create enough chances or score enough goals. We're solid, and have some good players. Lacking in the final third though. Lucky we have a cillinical striker, he's not missing at the moment. Where do you think WBA will be in May?

But you get arrested on sight for saying "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action". Saying those words is terrorism. Whereas this burning of effigies of refugees, that's just culture

This why first-past-the-post is such a terrible system for electing a government.
