i think we'll have 2 more, just basing off of the NASCAR schedule
this weather swing got me all screwed up
it was like 85 not even 2 days ago
1. Smaller wheel height (15") / brakes + larger sidewalls
2. Spool rear end on all ovals + no shifting on short tracks
3. Body redesign (the car has aged poorly appearance wise, need to flatten out the door/fender where it's easy to hop wheels too)
I repeat, self driving cars/tech should of never been allowed to exist & should be outlawed
annual winners circle kei truck posting hours
PINTANG
i wish they'd run this all year like the old days
It me
That was all of the squatted truck gang in the East Lot that started it after trying to turn 15000 RPM
Time for the 200
this is peak gmt800
suddenly i hear the silver bullet band blaring in the distance
LIKE A ROCK
(h/t @spann.bsky.social on the book app)
today's hot take:
forward placement numbers on a modified in the year 2026 should be considered a war crime
random cot show car
running directly against the Indy 500? sorry can't give a shit

NHRA finals about to fire off at Pomona, live on FS1 after several delays today
it's badass to see Nashville Fairgrounds packed tonight
(I'm sure John Ingram and the MLS team is pissed)
i'm just glad the WoO, SDS & XR races went safely, because that place is a ticking time bomb for those cars
alot of the STNY tracks were noted for being dust bowls in past because of the mineral makeup in that area. Shit, some asphalt tracks even closed down because ground under them was worth more to mine.
Some tracks have combated this by hauling in a new surface from a out of area location.
Charlotte put in a new surface in 2019/20 and the clay they got had real bad pH levels.
SMI doesn't normally do dirt either, they just let WRG rent it out for a month to get it worked in properly w/ 2 events + tons of testing. It's not bad by Carolina standards again at least
dirt dirt doesn't mean anything. It's different everywhere. The mineral content in the soil/clay can make a massive difference - why some tracks act so differently even if they are only 25-150 miles apart
(chunks of Southern Tier NY & PA are prime for mining + natural gas exploration for a reason)
plenty of fans were begging them on twitter to stay on the drone
the worst has to be 2020 World Finals
Really depends on the part of the country your in too.
Volusia (in the infield) felt like a pavement track dust wise compared to any of the tracks I've been to here in the Carolinas (which some years Charlotte World Finals is just a Darude Sandstorm video remix)
