Yeah but finding any even vaguely actionable thing in h.264 is still impressive, given how key that codec still is.

It was one of several they found tho
> These include further bugs in the H.264, H.265, and av1 codecs, along with many others
$10,000 is an incredibly good deal for these findings, at least in the private sector. Big companies pay much more for much less.
I think it was doomed by reality. Nobody wants to be seen wearing a VR headset, no matter the maker.
He owes you at least one lol
In my experience a marathon takes roughly double the amount of training that a half does — but if you have people who can support you through it then it’s worth doing.
But 90% of my non-work LLM use is a better more-expensive-than-Google web search. I assume a lot of people are the same
Some of it is industry-specific. If you are a software developer these things are absolutely incredible and scary and unavoidable. If your job is anything else, LLMs are less impressive and much more avoidable BUT you still have to pay lip-service else people think you’re a Luddite.
I felt the need to zero this out, just asked ChatGPT to solve the halting problem
People say this to me sometimes but I suspect it’s just because a beard obscures more of my actual face
Still doesn't touch UK prices lol
I think it’s this bit near the top: “These Terms don’t apply to Microsoft 365 Copilot apps or services unless that specific app or service says that these Terms apply.”
glad WW1 happened because it gave use the words to express this new horror
it's much easier to bad code in Go:
f, _ := SomeFunction()
lol but these are not the terms for any of the Copilot-branded products they sell to customers, as is clear in the numerous disclaimers
…to see Peter Dijkstra conduct the St Matthew Passion — an unmissable event with a cast of fantastic soloists, the Netherlands Chamber Choir the boys' voices of the Hague Sailors' Choir
All I'm hearing is excuses about why you're not Mark Mothersbaugh
Later: "My heart and my best intentions tell me I did not ingest Rhino Ket, but the facts and evidence tell me I did."
Ditto women’s health. Making abortion illegal in your state instantly narrows the pool of people willing to work there.
Yeah, Cambridge is more beautiful but Paris still has its moments
Do you guys publish costs of hosting bsky.app infra, or are those numbers under NDA?
Point me to the Hack training data lol
It all started when they refused to endorse Mamdani
uh-oh
This was a concern at Slack, which uses a language called Hack that is basically nonexistent in Claude’s training data. But Claude Code is able to understand all the necessary stuff, to the extent that a significant % of my PRs have no human-written code.
Wow, congrats to Kemi & Charlotte on their win. They won, right?
They actually did make a film with both of them in — and, incredibly, they're giving it away for free: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dhJ...
ok sure but you gotta watch this trailer that looks like it cost under $100 to film: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGDX...
A photo of the entrance Clinton Washington subway station, covered in snow. A man descends downstairs.
Snow pic!
No. Probably helps that Bluesky folks use Slack themselves.
When I added Bsky unfurls in 2024 HLS wasn't supported in Chromium. Now it is! This was 40 lines of code, not including tests.
