This so much. I think functional programming suffers from a bit of the same problem as math notation

At tænke sig hvor meget open source man ville kunne få udviklet for bare nogle få procent af de udgifter der er bare til Microsoft licenser på Europæisk plan.
Wanna show the world how dark patterned you can be? The cookie banner is a good place to start yes :)

Sweet :) I take it from the printouts this is an abstraction on top of Metal - are you supporting other APIs too on other platforms?
A flyer indicating that Treecle is running a giveaway for Loftia Beta keys during her streams this weekend. Streams are 2pm UK time on Fri/Sat/Sun.
#Ad Across this weekend's streams over on Twitch, I'll be running free to enter #LoftiaBetaGiveaway s - I loved the look of this cosy, eco-minded MMO so much that I backed it on Kickstarter. Come & hang out if you'd like to join me in this wholesome MMO! Wishlist & follow @loftia.bsky.social
This only makes sense to me if the actual list price is just being used as a "dummy" price to make the discount percentage seem larger, which is kinda icky...
I think it's generally recommended to have a launch discount to get on the right lists, but if you make it too large a percentage you're really shooting yourself in the foot I think? Hard to move people with subsequent sales if they aren't discounted at least as much as it was previously.
I usually just cast them to stay hidden and zone out :)
Can we get a clue?
Will be a good fit for some kinds of games, but short, memorable games that can actually be finished are losers in this model.
Thanks for joining me and Rene! If you missed it, you can catch the VOD
My favorite as a gamer by far: is when a game has a bunch of empiric / datamined info in guides and a living theorycrafting community
If I wanted to read llm text I would just ask ChatGPT myself :)
It does make a difference to me that a text is a work by someone who isn't just thinking, but also feeling.
💰THE OUTERSLOTH CONTRACT 💰
We just released the FULL contract and terms that all our games sign!
We hope this challenges the status quo of what you see out there.
In a nutshell:
💸 Pre-recoup 50/50
💸 Post-recoup 15/85
💸 Terms after 7 years

Easy to be transparent with terms like those :)
Hi #teaseyagame
In deep in the forest of Mount Dubious, you can enter "the in-between" and play dice with a capitalist demon wizard.
Black magic and black metal.
Grimoires and goats.
Angels and demons.
Action combat and survival.
Puzzles and secrets.
Killing the living and raising the dead.
Grimfog.

First time I heard that one just now...
The Medusa heads I saw years ago in the Basilica Cistern in Istanbul will haunt and inspire me forever.
Sourced from pagan temples by the Byzantine empire and mockingly repurposed as column bases.
I wonder...
How much grudge do they hold?
Do they ever blink?
Only just heard of it today - checking it out it looks like I'm pretty alone on that one 😆
Looks cool but I don't think it's my kind of game, so no.
Next Fest is a demo festival for upcoming games, not specifically an indie festival though?

Good question!
Upscaled pixel-art specifically maybe not? Handpainted art in general - I would think yes.
Low-poly aestethics - possibly yes? It's still easier to create, and there would probably be popular games leading the way.
Honestly the first thing I would think about was how to not force the player to control the individual limbs, and instead match player intent with procedural animation.
Or damn me.
Let's go!
