Wonderful surprise yesterday morning during the monthly bird count in Margravine Cemetery: our first Song Thrush fledgelings!!!! Until last year Song Thrushes were a very rare sight here and now a pair has had babies πŸ’š

Big Garden Birdwatch done this morning in @MargravineCem and it was a good one with 94 birds of 18 species. I managed to find our wintering Redwings (13) and Song Thrush. Most of the regulars made an appearance. Including the Peregrines (not on the count)

Yes, pretty sure. Lighting may be deceiving but it could be a juvenile as the back and tail look brown.
