Playwright script is uploading my partner's Excel spreadsheet to a website, line by line.
Some annoying corner cases had to be fixed, and now I'm watching the web browser fill the same form again and again.

It's not a net win if Claude creates vulnerabilities and reports some; that just causes more work for human oversight.
I can't wait for this bubble to burst.
Debating the Turing test a decade ago, I never imagined a person could ask a bot like Grok if it's actually thinking or just repeating propaganda.

Put a banana bread in the oven, feeling accomplished. After that test, I should finally have a stable recipe, with every parameter tested.
Five minutes later... fuck, I forgot the melted coconut in the microwave.
The disconnect between Claude's very real, very serious capabilities and how people talk about AI on this website is fascinating.
From this year on, electricity generation from fossil fuels is in structural decline.
Just eyeballing the trend lines is enough to predict it.
Only 3 of the last 25 years saw demand grow more than 1000TWh, and 2 of those were rebounds.
Renewable additions should exceed that, every year.
Dogs bark but the caravan moves on.
My bilingual daughter's English is excellent but sometimes she'll forget words. She just asked me if I could shave a carrot.
Famously, disease spreading amongst the troops has never affected the battle-readiness of any army ever.
No, hang on, the other thing. 🤦♀️
Tech folks who were told not to play Dungeons and Dragons because of its satanic influence are now lobbying for age verification, to avoid harm to young people.
Being old enough to have lived through a moral panic does not make you immune to another one.
The horseless carriage communications curse?
For when people can't understand WTF you're talking about or why it's important, because they heard "carriage" and mentally filed it in that category.
It's just a carriage without a horse, what's the big fucking deal?
LinkedIn has some stupendous takes:
“coding w ai is solved bc all context is in the git repo. knowledge work is difficult bc context is spread out. an ai system that creates a git repo w all context for a knowledge worker will be able to 100% automate the work.”
Another archive that seems up to date is "Trump's Truth", but it's also unclear whether they could have missed important posts and they link to an umbrella project that's no longer online.
Never in my radical 20's did I ever think that 3 decades later I'd be yelling at clouds that facts matter, damnit!
The only recent archive I'm finding for Trump's timeline is rollcall, which I can't deep link to, and only keeps a copy of the video thumbnails.
Either way, a bunch of random people on IG saying "I saw it before he deleted" is not a good way to determine whether something happened.
That our mainstream media have not been diligent about reporting these posts is also a huge issue, as is the attack on archives like the Wayback Machine.
If Trump did post those, it's a massive crisis.
Is there an authoritative source of everything he's posted, fast enough so they can capture everything even if he deletes a minute later?
It's deeply ironic that epistemiccrisis could have fallen for a deep fake, highlighting the epistemic crisis.
"The end is near"
Did Trump really post a video of Sinatra singing My Way?
Another video chanting incantations with his face covered in blood?
Over on IG, epistemiccrisis has claimed this, and there's debate as to whether they were posted and deleted, or if this is all just disinformation.
Was watching sandwiches of history and he said that the open face sandwich existed for about a hundred years before sandwiches with two pieces of bread. People used to be dumb as hell! Used to take generations to figure that shit out!!
Some of these speaker descriptions use a lot of flowery language to disguise their intellectual and moral indigence.
Besides Ben Shapiro, I'd be ashamed to share a stage with Gad Saad or James Lindsay.

Alex Branham X bio: National Rebirth Party Traditionalist Christian Stafford Branch Leader Family Values Remigration Free Speech DMs open
Does everyone remember Alex Bramham? The guy who was kicked out of a pride march cos he showed up in an LGB alliance t-shirt?
Transphobes in the press made a big deal about it at the time, about how it showed how intolerant the left is etc...
He's now a branch leader of the fascist NRP
The cookbook with an entire section on aspics has another section of recipes that seem too archaic to be included in the main chapters.
I spotted one recipe with ammonia: sweet pastry dough!
No wonder Ricardo is popular here...
1966 cookbook "La Cuisine Raisonnée" is a fascinating time capsule for a period when it was still assumed women were homemakers, and the breakthroughs in nutrition just added to their work and responsibilities.
We've come a long way, and today's food culture here still feels impoverished.
Mike Nellis @MikeNellis "I'M NO LONGER CATHOLIC!" Hannity ABANDONS HIS FAITH for Trump NELLIS X.com • +*+
Amazing that in the national divorce the libs are getting the NFL, butter and cooking oil, being attracted to adult women, standup comedy, Bud Light, and now also Catholicism
I'm not a fan of the Catholic Church.
Sean Hannity manages to make them seem reasonable...
