Canada pop grew around 10% and USA pop grew around 3.5% in that time. If we control the numbers for population growth, the graph looks almost the same. I still get Canada around 2% debt growth and USA at 8% debt growth.

StatsCan is giving me $2.5 billion consolidated debt in Q4 2019 and $3.9 billion in Q3 2025. When I annualize and take out inflation, I get around 5% debt growth. What am I missing here?
