No. Spotify this time but have had the issue with a number of sites. So many people will not understand what the problem is. Tech teams are hiding behind the "it is to make it more secure" lie.

Since when did websites decide that they would fail to login if a user uses any uppercase letters in their email address? Even after successfully registering with them. Poor UX. Especially as most users won't spot this and the error message is just "unknown user". This does not match email RFC!!!
