Therapy, like any human interaction, is a risk. You're not guaranteed to find the right help, or that the person will understand you. But the silver lining is that therapy typically has a track record for having the kinds of people that don't judge, and actually do understand! I'd take the plunge :]

I brought it up when I had therapy. It's a major part of my life, since most of my friends have it in common with me, so it seemed negligent of me not to bring it up. If I didn't give them all the info, how could they help me figure shit out? That's what I told myself, anyway.
