Sorry not on here enough. We can’t offer discounts as we stopped publishing the handbooks 2 years ago as they just didn’t make economic sense. The number of copies sold did not justify the time and effort spent. Thanks for reaching out.

All ready for my keynote at the Business Librarians Association #BLA25 in Stirling on ‘Letting go of certainty’.
I will be exploring: whether uncertainty has always been with us; if it’s good or bad for us; and what we can do about it in both our work and personal lives.

Three happy people posing for a photo
Wonderful to catch up with two other former Chairs of the Business Librarians Association (BLA) last night: Keith & Emma, between us we consecutively covered 2006 to 2016. #BLA25
Thank you!

I've arrived at the beautiful University of Stirling for the 2025 Business Librarians Association 50th anniversary conference. It's my first time attending, and I have to say I couldn't have met a nicer bunch of people. Time to forget about my 4 a.m start and enjoy!

Vienna University of Business & Economics
Headed to Vienna to open the joint international business librarians conference tomorrow with a keynote on uncertainty entitled: ‘Letting go of certainty’. Can uncertainty be good for us? And what can we do when faced with too much uncertainty?

You’ve not got me wondering who the ionic column icon was for! A female architect I think?
Ha - no. It was a team name from last year. We were in Cambridge so we chose alumni team names. We also had Rupert Brooke, Zadie Smith, Alan Turing & Delia Derbyshire to name a few. We had great fun creating team icons - can you make out the bell jar for team Plath?
