After the 2024 election, support for trans rights was widely viewed as a political liability for Democrats. But across the country, Democrats who are standing firm against anti-trans legislation haven’t seen the backlash many expected — and may even be strengthening their standing with voters.
The Congress we are about to elect better focus on accountability.
If we aren’t willing to hold accountable the entire chain of command pursuing these crimes, then we will have learned nothing.
