How much does that job pay? Employers still failing to comply with new salary transparency laws As of Jan. 1, job postings by employers with 25 or more workers are required to include salary ranges within $50,000, and alert prospective employees if artificial intelligence is used

Pay transparency without enforcement puts the risk on workers, not employers. A $50,000 salary range isn’t transparency. “There is a big difference in a salary range of $50,000,” says Walton, OFL President. "It’s the difference between having to work one or two jobs.”

ICS Facilities want to lower standards for cleaners in Toronto, but we won’t let them.

10k of our colleagues across major cities already won better wages & benefits, and safer & more reasonable workloads. There is no excuse to provide any janitor with anything less.
