Things had been better than they'd been in a long time. Good enough Izzy started to relax. That was probably his biggest mistake, letting himself be lulled into a sense of security. Because it turned out while Izzy was calming down for once, Ed was self sabotaging. Izzy was livid with both of them.

O! This is a proper legit complaint! My cat Atticus, whom I adopted from my surrogate grandma who recently died, has had tummy issues and I found out today has a hyp(er?o?) thyroid. Regardless, he's gonna need pills idk how Imma get into him & my baby is unwell & old & I am worried I'm failing him 😭
Anyway I'm lucky to be anyone's friend, no one owes me anything, I'm lucky to be gainfully employed, all of this will pass. But this exact moment could be better.
Also several of my friends dropped lotsa balls but I didn't drop mine & I wanna be patient & kind & understanding bc I'm barely a person most days! But also I put in a nonzero amount of effort into things that have come to naught bc I'm the only one who did. So it's hard not to feel like why bother?
I was gently bullied by my boss into being responsible for a thing I HATE for the month of August. I tried to talk my way out of it. I failed. Regardless I was given a rush at the end of the work day today (not having to take rushes is meant to be one of the advantages of doing the thing I hate.)
