Starting up a new Trident Realm army for Kings of War, and just finished my very first unit!

“So you’re sure?”
“What?”
“You’re sure this name will translate well in different markets?”
“Of course! It’s just a couple of words pushed together, nothing to see here!”
this is maybe trite at this point but it is in your interest to find ways to create things. basically everyone wants you to be consuming nonstop. making stuff, from cooking to photography or whatever, can help you feel more in control. doesn’t even have to be something you share with other people

Most fun I've had painting a mini for a long time, really pleased with how that's turned out

Yeah, its really sad. But they already retired the first ones last year, so this is just more of the same unfortunately
I think the writing’s been on the wall for Warcry for a long time, sadly. Next Level Games are selling out at huge discounts.

Pretty sure I just saw the editor walking around the Cavalier show wearing a Tr*mp t-shirt...
Starting the year with a couple of oil painting commissions, which in an age of NFT and AI makes me happy. Attachments for illustrative purposes only.
Wandered the countryside for five days, found a treasure site infested with goblins. Went all Anakin Skywalker on them, and stole all of their stuff - now looking into a quest in the nearby hamlet.
10/10 for my campaign start of Five Leagues from the Borderland!
Working on my Corpse Grinder Cult tonight, but it's slow going.
Here's a picture of my Hand of the Archon Flayer.

Had a good friend come visit me over the weekend, and it sparked this little blogpost of mine, that I'd like to share with you all: miniatorium.com/how-i-learne...

Another plastic toy transformed into a miniature for fantasy wargames.
Been working on an army for Warhammer Old World, and I've now finished my third unit:
And here's the happy group - all together!
I've been bit by the bitsbox and had a go at doing some grimdark kitbashing with a lot of Frostgrave and Stargrave kits to make an Inquisitor and some Crusaders for the Vasterian setting as well as for my Sisters of Battle army. Pictures below!
Because it's relevant (again), just a reminder that we small Indies don't have shareholders to satisfy, just bills to pay. No queuing system, no scalpers, just people genuinely pleased with every order you make. And while Likes are lovely, Retweeting is the best way to help with visibility for us.
RIP Bryan Ansell.
It’s hard to overstate his impact on wargaming, and I doubt my life would be where it is were it not for the games he had a hand in making.
The aesthetics of 40k was definitely on show in the movie - but that's more down to Snyders absolute lack of imagination. It was a very pretty movie tho', with cool set pieces and had I been 14 years old I'd been all over the (rebel) moon for it! :D
Started to paint all of these this Wednesday, to have them ready for a game today! Pulled out all of my speedpainting tricks, and I'm rather chuffed with how they all turned out! :D Now I finally have an army for Middle Earth!
Lovely paintjob and basing! Are they 20mm figures or 28mm? I'm toying with how to base my 15mm for Crossfire as well, and I'm liking the look of yours.
A company of Germans refreshed for games of Crossfire at the club. Rebased on 40mm rounds and textured to match my urban ruins. Will do same for my Russians. Nice to get these out of storage and back into action. Today’s lesson - never get rid of an army, you just never know….
If you don't mind a bit of kit-bashing for rules, I'd recommend Five Men in Kursk for some solo WW2 games?
Maybe it's just getting older and witnessing more of the never-ending horror that mankind has inflicted upon itself, but I am frankly quite tired and bored of seeing fuckwits pretend that the sanctity of Warhammer 40,000 lore matters in any meaningful way.
Hi, I'm Annie and I love GHOULS! So much, that I had the famous Warhammer sculptor Paul Muller sculpt me some more! This short Kickstarter campaign will get these into production so that you can enjoy these as well!
[Please share, for the ghouls!]

Done some painting today for the first time in over a month (phantom pain is incredibly spicy at the moment).
And the final ones!
