Add to playlist: the dadaist cubist racket of Angine de Poitrine and the week’s best new tracks This hyped anonymous duo match the oddness of their costumes with shredding metal, microtonal flourishes and Dalek-style vocals

Prewn: “Making candy to my ears in the middle of the night” | Interview Funny and tragic in the same breath, Prewn’s songs grow in the dark from the gnarled foundations of her oldest companion: the cello.

Thank you @thelineofbestfit.com for championing Prewn, an artist you'll be hearing plenty more about before too long. Please do go and listen to last year's "System" on @eisrecords.bsky.social, it's a special record: www.thelineofbestfit.com/features/int...

The Cribs: Selling a Vibe review | Alexis Petridis’s album of the week The Jarman brothers’ ninth album adds a little 80s pop sheen to their distorted guitars and confident songwriting, while always sounding exactly like the indie stalwarts

One of my favourite records I've worked on, I think. Definitely one that I still find myself recommending to people long after the campaign has finished.

Idlewild album today, which is a highlight of a largely terrible week. Whole family has had norovirus, which is awful stuff. And the engine has blown on my lease car, out of warranty, with six weeks of a four year contract to go. Several thousand to fix, only to then have to hand it right back.
