When it comes to Battalion box sets in #warhammertheoldworld, which is your favourite and why?

Great day out at Salute and managed to avoid impulse buys (I know, right).

Its a very different beast now with so much sci-fi and fantasy stuff on offer. Also a shame to see some firms like Pendrakon not in attendance.

Still, loads of fun seeing all the new stuff on the market

Fairly productive month. I've been focused on getting a force ready for the first event I've signed up for using Square Based comp.

I won't be getting anything else finished this month but pleased to have been more productive with 7 black orcs, 14 marauders, a marauder horseman and 5 hounds complete.

Still buying more stuff than I paint though so need to get a handle on it after Hammerhead and Salute...

For various reasons, I've made a slow start to painting this year. Just some Black Orcs and Dragon Ogres (which I needed for a video).

February looks busy. March probably will be too, so I'll need to be disciplined and focus on my main priorities - Path to Glory Orcs and some WoC.

I wanted to do Chaos for the local Path to Glory campaign but the new marauders are just going to take too long to paint. They look really cool and I don't want to rush them.

Quick update on my first Mordheim building. Its looking better than I thought it would.

Just need to do something with the base the on to the next thing...

Genuinely forgotten how much fun Mordheim is. So much so I felt inspired to start a new terrain piece. As if I don't have enough painting to do...

Had my first go at GM'ing the Old World rpg. Good fun and a straightforward system, although I would like more granularity in the weapon options.

Anyone else playing? We've got a bonkers wood elf sniper...

I very taken breaks from GW stuff over the pricing. Outside of rules, I don't get much from them now. So many good options on the market, which just didn't exist when the pricing first got really silly.

So #redroses are RWC champions (well deserved after beating a good Canada side). Lionesses are champions of Europe.

Great for women's sport in England.

Be nice if the men could win a major tournament too...

I've signed up for a #warhammertheoldworld tournament in November. The question is what to take.

My usual faction (Empire), a dwarf force I've never really used or Orcs and Goblins (I'm not convinced my model availability stands up to 1.5 but hey ho).
