After a very busy few weeks (the indie film industry is still thriving despite to the global downturn in filmmaking!), I walked into my 'bigger back garden' last night, which is in Sussex as I'm right on the border and all I could hear was the beautiful song of the skylarks. Perfectly wonderful!

Police have cordoned off a small area near Happy Valley just before the steps down to the hermits cave. Two police officers there.

Langton Road due to be dug up again for another 11 weeks, after it being dug up last year for 3 months. Quite unbelievable. Plus Major Yorks Rd. Grim, grim, grim
Just reading about the new seating/umbrella criteria for #thepantiles ##tunbridgewells
Seems strange that the council want all outdoor seating packed away at 11pm, it'll all just be brought out again in the morning so object defeated. I agree with removal of the furniture by The Buzz, its too big
As Winter turns to Spring....
I can definitely hold my hand up to liking a bit of weirdness.... but these???? These bits of jewellery are definitely a BIG NO NO, even from me! 🤣
Sainsburys need to up the music game!
Sending the biggest hugs x
My daughter was asked to provide evidence that she was taking her son out of school to his optician appt 15 minutes before the end of the school day. God knows how people would manage a week! I'm all for global learning experiences and would defy their idiotic rules.
Calling all #photographers
Thanks, that's helpful!
Eurostar travellers... I'm parking at Ebbsfleet, taking the early train to St P - how much time do I need to allow for passport/checking in when I get into St Pancras? TIA!
The use of AI / Chatgpt to write these constant spammails I receive is just as irritating as the spam itself.
Might be a good thing, so long as those making the decisions aren't as corrupt as the government.
Celebrations and light fading over Chapel Place, Tunbridge Wells yesterday evening.

If this was the old days on Twitter X I'd be able to tag B&Q and Homebase but I can't so I'll just tag @god.bsky.social
Dear God, please could you arrange for B&Q to also buy Homebase in #TunbridgeWells because I'm bereft that I'll soon have no DIY store near my house.
Amen x
Worked in a great studio today, lots of interesting people film there
#Manchester
Too early for a power nap?
I'm back in Manchester today for a tv commercial shoot, just the one character to do but I've already done a test day so today will be stress-free. Looking forward to tomorrow as making the most of being somewhere different and visiting Haddon Hall with tickets for the Mercatum (Christmas market)
Every city, town, village I'm drawn to the graveyards or cemeteries for this very reason. I find the stonework fascinating, the gothic carvings and railings often crammed in almost in top of each other. I expect the talk was really interesting.
Hope you are doing OK x

Gregg Double G Wallace's latest remarks is clearly misogynistic and proves what sort of man he is. If I were to make remarks on set similar to his comments to men, I would never work in the industry again so I blame the people around him and the producers for allowing it to happen.
Great to see Witch doing so well, it's in the top 10 movies on @paramountplus.bsky.social
This was a great one to film, we filmed in Hungary during lockdown. Lots of great memories from this one!
Thank you for the tip! Yes, it "bounces" a bit doesn't it! I need to get some oil... wish I was a bit more savvy in the DIY tool department, took me an hour to get the chain back on yesterday but I got there in the end! Fingers still in tact fortunately!
Today's a learning day - back in the online classroom with a course through my union @bectu.bsky.social Today I'm learning more about makeup for medium to deep skin tones, hoping for some good pointers to the best brand to use so that my kit always has the best of everything.
Morning James!
