Good morning hugs with Annie and Maisie. Today is a great day to be alive! I’ll have a full explanation later on how I almost didn’t get to say that today.
Humans could learn so much from animals if we only opened our eyes and our hearts.
Good morning to all our fellow Knuckleheads ♥️
It’s one day closer to the end of animal agriculture.
You are never alone when justice is on your side. Justice is the best companion one can have throughout life.
Charlie the turkey loves her cuddles. She will follow us around all day and the second we stop moving, she will get into a cuddle position. It’s very hard to resist her. Also, Miles hates not being the center of attention.
I hadn’t been outside much during the day because of not feeling well. This is what happened when Miles saw me back outside. #Sillygoose
Good morning Charlotte, Millie, and Pumpkin ♥️
Gwen at 7 weeks ♥️. Jenna is making sure I know she will always be ‘the baby’!!

Jackie has asked us to clarify that this is a highly unflattering angle and not representative of her true proportions.
I was sure she would be feral for life. Who knew you could spend four days chasing a goat in the woods and have her end up being the sweetest most love seeking girl. Edna is definitely a love bug!
Millie doesn’t want to get stuck out in the rain and she is not making any attempt to hide her grumpy feelings about getting wet.
Baby’s first activist outfit: ALF jr
Should this be on Gwen’s baby registry? 🤷🏼
Thank you to my daughter Rousseau for helping with this!
Leave their legs on the lambs, and keep them off your plate!
Thanks @rousseau.y.art for the illustration
Anyone else already have spring pests sneaking in their window? What does one do about the dreaded Huckleberry?
Here at Life With Pigs we strongly believe in family meal times. And if that requires letting Edna the goat sit in the food dish, at least the family is having quality time together.
Annie, our sweet blind dwarf cow and Huckleberry the lamb have been best pals ever since Huck first arrived and they bonded. Since then Huckleberry has always sought out his big-ish sister. And they couldn’t be anymore perfectly matched. Both are the purest and most loving souls.
Thanks Huckleberry for all the help!
See Mallory, Jenna is totally safe around her baby sister Gwen.
Sure it was just Gwen’s first ultrasound photo at 5 weeks, but notice how gentle and delicate Jenna was. No horn swinging at all. A nice reminder that: most angels have halos but the best ones have horns!!
Hey! I think we know them...
Jenna doesn’t like sweet treats. It’s just a fact…. She had no interest in my smoothie.
Sweet dreams, Indy.
She said goodbye to her buddy Elton today before we buried him. And we are all missing him so much already.
Annie may not be Irish, but does look great in green! So Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
My wife says she always makes good choices. Remember, I was one of those choices.
Seven years ago... my daughter watched me fail to crawl under Jenna and I knew one day I'd redeem myself.
Chance of survival: Low
Chance of looking like an idiot: 100%
Pumpkin feels very ill-used. She was expecting a nice spring day, and instead… just cold. After spending all of yesterday inside because of a tornado watch, this is simply too much to bear.
Why?!? Why must this happen to us!!!
Naps are scary looking around here!
Could you say no to Huckleberry?
So much happiness, cuteness, and joy. Oh… and so much Miles! Sanctuary life is pretty magical here at Life With Pigs.

What is going on?!? Yesterday it was 90 and today it is snowing. Jenna and Maisie are clearly astonished. Even Annie has postponed her afternoon walk. Williamsburg has some weird weather.

Got a notification from Edna’s GPS collar (yes, she has a GPS collar) that she had gone adventuring again. Found her happily munching across the street. Guess we have more fencing to goat-proof.
We used to say we would only take goats will three legs or less. I submit to you here the reason why.
