Separation Anxiety (1/2)
Though Jocosa was often content to have her son trailing behind her as her small, wheezy, slightly unstable shadow, there were times when she had to attend to a situation that his lack of social acumen (and tendency to bite) were particularly ill-suited for.
Finally sharing here the four pages of Noise Body, a comic I made for Yiff Magazine's second issue last year

We love a top confident enough to pin you to the ground but too shy to be able to look you in the eyes during it
Yeah i can feel that the building kits is an attempt at simplifying that system down, but it feels like an obvious missing last step, cuz building kits sure seeeeem like they should be able to do that?
Some kass teehee
Yeah I ended up going to a friend's town to snap a pic of his Toxtricity guitar. :')
It's an interesting sorta nod to the whole 'trading' idea, though there is something cheesy about just duping items like that, lol.
And and and what if Pokemon gave you a poster/portrait or something like Animal Crossing when you reached max friendship with them, omg
Ok im done but damn does this game get the gears turning 💦
Oh and I'm gonna need those 300 more pokemon, too! Ain't *none* of my Obstagoon Crew in these games but I will build them the dankest, shittiest trailer home in the worst part of Pallet Town, please let it happen.
But yeah I wanna theorize, maybe like: Spooky Lavender Town, Flooded Cerulean City, Overgrown Jungle Viridian City, Underground Crater Cinnabar Island, Icy Indigo Plateau. Half of which is basically what the leak said they'd be, but still. I'm down for anything as long as it feels different.
Also really want more items from the games, I *really* wish the small relics weren't just pngs. I love stuff like Charcadet being able to live with his evo item in his house, I wanna have Pokeballs/Evo Stones/Restorative items to decorate with. (and berry bushes should look like gen 3 dont @ me)
It's just that your range of options is so clearly tailored to the four areas the game has, I'm not a fan of like, ghost types having very little spooky stuff to choose from, or the few ice types that kinda don't have *any* 'ice' themed stuff. Also add more music discs wth! Only two from RSE!!!
At the same time, actually getting *five more areas* with the same range as the base game seems kinda unthinkable, 600 pokemon would be a craaazy amount. As is, most people probably don't have it in them to finish the areas we have now, maybe 10 areas is too much? (not me, ill go forever, try me)
I will say though, I'm dying for updates-- or just the *promise* of updates? I saw the leaked DLC plans, which makes too much sense *not* to do? But Nintendo tends to approach this stuff in a way that makes no sense, so my expectations are tempered lol. If it's just events like Hoppip's I'll be sad.
But Pokopia's just got such a golden concept with the Pokemon house/habitat thing. It works for me in a way that the Happy-Home DLC suuuper didn't, I guess because it's all interconnected? Hypothetically, building out the island *for* the islanders would have been more enjoyable.
The most depressing feeling for me in a casual game like this is where I lose interest by the time I reach my goal-- like, in New Horizons, when collected all my favorite furniture and was allowed to recolor shit, I didn't want to redo my house/town, I already did that, it's done. So why bother?
Having spent some time with it, it's definitely got some "what in the world were you thinking" choices-- I love Smeaguru with my whole being but I don't want to tie re-colors to him-- I'm mainly just happy that I'm still into it after unlocking most of the shit, I just wanna build.
