Why is it inevitable? It is so data and energy intensive and doesn’t seem to be leading to profits, I think it may end up being used in discrete sectors rather than universally.

I understand your comments. I am definitely not making excuses, however. I am trying to understand the prevalence of the behavior and the complicity. I think denial is a likely explanation. It preserves a sense of imaginary self.

I totally get it. I’m just trying to get at the fundamental problem of them not seeing it. Or refusing to see it. It is part of the reason it has persisted and needs to be disrupted, which is what you do excellently every day.

To them this behavior is “normal.”

It seems pretty clear at this point that many of these men don’t know they are predators. They think this is just how sex and pursuit of it work. And it is a huge problem to correct what they refuse to and cannot see.

When I was on law review in law school, which for me was only a few years ago, it was very heavily female, in stark contrast to all the old photos on the walls. The test is blind. We don’t know anything about the identity of the participants when we are reviewing applications/writing tests.
