#SEACOVERY is running
More than 300 Posidonia seedlings are waiting (and growing) in the aquaria at the @szndohrn.bsky.social, and will soon be transplanted.
These little ones will tell us a lot on how assisted evolution techniques might be essential for effective recovery/restoration.

#SEACOVERY project in moving on!
After growing seedlings from different origins and applying stress hardening techniques on them, they have finally returned to the sea. Now we will monitor them to check the effectiveness of each one of this experimental approaches.

Who’s the oldest here?!

Today we collected Posidonia oceanica rhizomes near Ischia Island to estimate the age of these clones through lepidochronological analysis for the PhD project PLASTIC-AGE.
