Been busy. Lot going on at work, in the world, with the family.

Want to comment on a lot of current events but for now I think I'm just going to keep reading, listening, and writing.

None of which is to say that being a GM is, in and of itself, burdensome -- it's a delight, when done right -- there just is more prep and tracking and so forth.

Trade off of course being.... you're the GM, and that's awesome if you're being awesome and your players are awesome.

Don't have another TTRPG anything going right now, don't know when (certainly not "if") I will again; not sure if I will want to GM yet again or be a player this time. Both are fun in different ways, obviously, and players have "work", but ... it is less burdensome.

Trying to think of the things I used to post about, and realized: Thea update!

Campaign finally concluded November 18th, 2025, a little over a decade after it began. The party managed quite the victory in the end. I've written a little and want to write more about it, but, alas, time.

I am enjoying a lot of other games, and I recently got both a Steam Deck and a Stream Deck, so that's stuff I'm gonna explore a little.

I am sorry for all the talented artists, writers, etc involved who tried to make Metroid Prime 4 better than what it came out as, but. Ooph. OOPH.

Honestly I've expected to see / read better takedowns of it than I have. I'm so close to being done but it's so bad. Not gonna 100% it at all.

My first 'take' in my return to social media is Metroid Prime 4 is bad. I want a documentary on what went wrong. I texted my best friend from back when I played through the original three and told him I've never hate finished a game before, but I am now.
