Ideally, this should be controlled by the world as a whole. All in agreement. The stakes are that high. A lot of people have done a disservice to a lot of people by pretending it's all a scam or can't do basic things. They've mostly now switched to environmental harm.

I genuinely believe almost everyone working on them is in fact doing so for mostly good reasons. What can come from this is genuinely incredible. Some of it already is. I don't have to rely on conjecture for it, I've seen it and had to build with some of it.

But also understand that the interaction with it isn't the whole thing. Agents do not require, explicitly, any interaction. Much of the harm that will come, and I do mean will, is from non-aligned Agentic capabilities with the power already available but not publicly released.
