Who is the best security research/pen tester you know and that I should talk to?
I want to create the go-to guide for VPS security.

kind of impressed what a single post can do
do you feel like it really helped your flow or meh?
Do you use any memory/task management MCP's?
I've never had anything to do with the movie industry...
...but for two years I built software used by billion dollar production companies and some of the best talent agencies and producers in the world.
You can just build things as an outsider. Your niche can be autism.

"how could this have happened?"
I noticed something weird:
bad devs = bad vibe coders
great devs = great vibe coders
exceptional devs = horrible vibe coders
you can't see it on bsky (yet), but you can imply from actual interactions (likes/comments) assuming similar ratios to X
I don't have a lot of followers at all and barely even grow here, most of my tweets get like 100 impressions.
I beg you to just post like once a week and reach out to people. It'll change your life. 99% of all the opportunity in the past two years came from here.
Don't have good ideas? Just ship something.
A tool, a website, a real-time transcription app, a full fledged steam scraper so you and your friends can get better game recommendations than on Steam.
Your ideas will get better the more you do.
Devs: you type 60-100 WPM.
You speak 150-180 WPM.
What's stopping you from just speaking into Cursor?
something like that would prob be most accurate, but not feasible in public gyms for me
Tracking workouts sucks. Pen and paper sucks and all the apps I've tried also suck.
I just want to workout while I'm in the gym and yet still have everything magically tracked...
One thing I learned from taking a long time off is that, no matter how autistic you are, you need hobbies in your life other than building stuff and you absolutely need to spend time with people who aren't builders.
It will replenish creativity faster than anything else
the real litmus test to know if you'll survive in the AI utopia is moving to the countryside.
if you're bored and don't know what to do with your life you're ngmi
go play some more minecraft and figure it out
What are your favorite tools that you think have a super fair price and respect you as a user?
how do you define that?
Screen studio is such a nice product. You can just buy it once, get updates for a year, but own it forever.
My gf is really good at cooking so she is now cooking a meal planner app for us

'i will refactor later, trust me'
just bought sanetools.com and will make it a simple directory for tools that respect you:
1. no subscriptions if not necessary
2. if sub is necessary, it should have a sane price
3. no shady things or dark pattern bullsh*t (sorry adobe)
what else should I filter for?
I haven't coded for over two months. This is the longest I've gone without coding since I was 13 and it feels weird.
Bought new macbooks for gf and me.
A while ago when we decided to take a serious break, we wiped and sold our macbooks
We're starting from 0 again.
She wants to be a coder and indie hacker, so technically I'll be a duopreneur from now on.

I think one of the most interesting learnings of Genie 3 + SIMA is that generalists beat specialists and it's not even close.
Maybe this will also hold true for humans over the next few decades.
Ok, fk it, time to build again.
After exiting my last startup, I thought I'd just take some time off and travel, but oh boy my brain doesn't shut up about building stuff. On to new shores and fresh ideas.

Let's stop making everything a damn subscription. Thank you for your attention.
It is with great pleasure to inform you that I am an engaged man
This is the way
Couldnβt agree more. Biggest failures of high potential people Iβve seen were ones that had crazy ideas, dangerous levels of self confidence but no strategy, consistent agency and emotional intelligence to back it up.
thanks man!
