yeah there's tons of things that would be better to inform the user. I know in this new era most people assume everything is always saved and people switch apps all the time but that's not always the case, so desktop software started to miss important things.

I know reload adds a strategic element to a game, but there's something about older FPS games where you can just go "pew pew pew pew pew" until you run out of bullets that is so satisfying.

Watched Prey a couple weeks ago, decided to try Badlands today and they are both pretty good. Badlands goes even further for Alien franchise fans. Dan Trachtenberg did a great job here.

damn, glad I'm not using WP anymore. but this is something that had occurred to me regarding games, there are always companies trying to buy live mobile games from devs, and I wonder if that can also be used as a sort of attack vector, pushing new updates with crap in it.

yup I'm not alone, I would recommend not allowing Unity hub to install the last version
latest unity hub version v3.17.1 is so broken it keep using almost 40% of CPU even while doing nothing at all. It's using more than the Editor itself. had to revert to an older version to get it working properly again.
I had a somewhat similar effect when I was actively pushing content to my own game QoD over the various platforms and content updates. But it dwindled fast near later years

This whole age verification in operative systems and websites is an absolute privacy mess. Educate kids and stop gifting them iPads/phones when they’re like 10. I grew up around games and internet and my parents had a weekly budgeted time for me to use it during weekends.
