Decided on a whim to put the app on sale for the next few days for cheap - $5.99. Great time to grab it if you’ve been waiting!

My dad shared this song with me on a mix tape in our faux wood-paneled Plymouth Voyager, road trip to Hershey Park-late 80s. First memory of knowing I was listening to a synthesizer. I was captivated by the deep bass plucks+ thought the track itself was called Deep Breakfast for the longest time.

Back in my day, we didn't have yer ChatGPT running inside Notepad inside Logic Pro for no good reason. Why we had Microsoft making mincemeat out of Metallica. Like someone stole Wesley Willis' backing tracks and stuck 128k MP3 a cappellas of James Hetfield on top.

This dev update post did surprisingly well for some reason... Maybe it was the mention of midi control that caused the algorithm to boost it? Either way, please have a look at the app’s instagram page for some of the recent stuff I’ve been working on…. www.instagram.com/p/DJM9be6uZ5...

Periodic reminder that

1. I wrote a book called Living in Data

2. It's pretty darned relevant at the moment

3. You can get it at your local bookshop or library

The Last Days of May – initially inspired by Australian guitarist Roland S. Howard – is @zsennef.bsky.social’a longest piece to date, a wistful work of sweet melancholy with the course and tempo of a dimming summer’s day, undercut by his trademark sleight of hand in intricate, decaying detail.
