The character of a maid who escapes an endless theatre performance, where wanderers are possessed by "roles" and repeatedly killed at the hand of an ever changing culprit in a thrilling mansion murder mystery. It has memories of being killed as well as being the killer, and sees itself as something eternally bloodied, so it dedicates itself to cleaning. A reference sheet for my character, Velvet (she/her, it/its). Text reads: - she used to be a maid (?) - the frills on her outfit resemble a maid's uniform. - her bangs make her look like blood is dripping down her face. - the skin on her scalp is red, as are her roots and the nape of her neck - it has feathery eyelashes, based off of the petals on the "love lies bleeding" flower. - her freckles are red/pink and look like blood splatters. they indicate where she received mortal wounds in a previous life, or gather in places she believes are "inherently bloody". - it isn't necessary to draw every freckle verbatim, but please make sure to include the ones on her forehead and neck. - there is nothing wrong with her eye! she just prefers to use an eyepatch because the previous body she possessed wore one. - the white part of her nails is naturally red. the skin under her nails is the same. it does not have fingerprints. - red-pink discoloration on her palms & soles of feet; looks similar to a port wine stain. she cannot see herself outside the context of violence. - heeled edwardian boots give it an extra 1.5 inches in height.
