Bill C-9 advances to Senate Bill C-9, the Combatting Hate Act, advanced to the Senate tonight. The House of Commons adopted it with a 186-137 vote at third reading.

Bill C-9, including the repeal of that odious religious exception, has finally been adopted by the House of Commons. It is now up to the Senate.
Catholics are not amused. They recommend "extra prayer and fasting" to defeat the bill.
