Ready for her morning jog, Grace stepped out her front door only to nearly trip over a thumb-high snow leopard. Thundy stood at the front of a line of micros on her porch clutching fruit and quietly chatting amongst themselves. All eyes focused eagerly on her as she crouched down.

Ysgith snagged two palm-sized oranges from the bag on the counter. The water deer had hardly stepped out of the kitchen when his SIZ collar activated, and the world around him grew in a flash. By the time his shrinking stopped, he was less than 2/3s the height of one of the oranges.

Shrinking would have been stressful enough if it had stopped at cup-sized, egg-sized, candy-sized, or even pill-sized. Instead, the poor snep had dwindled far past that, until the grass of his backyard towered over him, every blade a slender skyscraper. Every pebble a giant hill.
