This is an excellent public service initiative👏. The Urban Archaeological Survey reports are known to be a really valuable resource by archaeologists, historians, geographers & planners. This now makes them much more readily accessible to citizens. 1/2

The excavations were carried out by Archaeological Management Consultancy on behalf of Limerick City & County Council funded by Transport Infrastructure Ireland. The on-going post-excavation research will hopefully reveal more about the context of the pin's deposition. 3/4
