Health-care can be traumatic in our country. But slivers and pockets of good exist still. May that healing path you seek open wide for you.
Section 230 doesn’t just protect platforms—it protects the people who use them. We spoke with Reddit’s top lawyer about how volunteer moderators, everyday users, and online communities need 230 to function. www.eff.org/deeplinks/2...
It's Fermentation Season here #OnTheCovenstead - the poultry feed from ~mid-April to mid-October is fermented before feeding. That required a huge re-set and cleaning out in the barn's farmer area. But in a couple of days, they will be eating sprouted grain rations, which is hugely better for them.
Our yearling drake (Edgar) is in full-on spring romance mode, but the ladies are like, "you too young for me fool." It's constant entertainment looking out my studio window. He tries so hard to impress and ends up just swimming in the pond like a maniac.

Last days of my Spring Awakening offering - it's been fun doing these for folx. Don't forget if you got one, feel free to leave a review on my site. Let's get to planting seeds and blooming on through the summer, Witches.

It's National Library Week. Here are the latest stats about the state of book bans in Oregon, including the rise in people hiding, stealing, and damaging library books.
Thank you, librarians, for standing up to bans.

I’ve been working on this for a while, but I’ll share what I have so far. And it’s going to be hard to explain in a concise way that doesn’t get all muddled and confusing via a long thread. I’m going to try to show how corrupted our housing system is in Washington state and who’s behind it. 🧵
Washington peeps: READ this. Pay very close attention.
This is just ONE of the major issues with this case:
75/100 here. 🤷♀️ Until they were diagnosing one of my kiddos, I'd not heard of autism. Intervention certainly was not a thing when I was young. Every year I learn more and more and I'm like oh, wait...
Without stating your age, post your favorite film released the year you turned 18.
Awesome! As an avid dreamworker, including lucid dreaming, I'm grateful for this share.
Was absolutely not prepared for the @astrokatie.com cameo in this
and a Witch, I can tell you that if you see the spirit world or are open to it, these places are especially imprinted on your psyche. Also, I believe our ancestors won't let us forget -- especially if you reside in a culture or belief system which venerates the Beloved Dead. 2/2
Due to my journalist background, I covered the 50th anniversary of WWII, with ceremonies & remembrances in many places across Europe including concentration camps. It left a mark on me, so when my kiddos studied it in school, family discussions had a unique perspective. As a HSP... 1/
Taurus Season Begins, and with a rare Venus-Uranus conjunction shaking up relationships and values, and powerful planetary alignments pushing disciplined action, you are being called to step into your individuality and build something that truly lasts. #Astrology #FoxyAstrology #love #sovereignty
This is huge. My Pops was a medical miracle and beat that bitch Pancreatic Cancer for 9 years until it finally bested him. This would have been so clutch for him. This is also why research & bolstering science is necessary.

I love how when you start to plant food wherever you can, it just starts showing up randomly after that. So far this year we've transplanted nature-planted volunteer garlic, onions, herbs, strawberries, and a half dozen conifer trees.
This year's #PermieWitch theme seems to be 'volunteer transplanting.' Today I transplanted 2 baker's dozen volunteer Swiss Chard. It's a favorite around here and I love harvesting it for the winter time to throw in soups and stews and omelettes. Pickling the stems is yummy, too. #OnTheCovenstead
Hope you're getting some rest.
The Covenstead runs on tech, from the cameras in the barn to how we make our living. It's a tool. It can be good or bad. AI is very, very bad. And those of us that work in tech are getting it shoved down our throat by employers. We ain't taking the bait, b/c next step is firing everyone who uses it.
How many of us have kin whose name resides on this collective blanket of grief?
What is it with these asshats instituting changes on a Friday anyway?
I wasn’t considered “the epitome of beauty” growing up.
These days? I’m done letting random people define how I see myself.
I’ll do what makes me feel good, for ME.
And know this: you are under absolutely no obligation to meet the ridiculous, impossible standards the world hands us.
Trolls, they really are a blight.
Oscar is one for my beloved. He often quotes him, which when we were first dating I found both disarming and adorable.
An orca whale surfacing in the waters of the Salish Sea in hues of gray, blue, and black.
Colors like this exist no where else in the world that I've traveled (I didn't always used to be a covenstead-body). And I love the PNW for this amazingness. #SalishSea #PNW #LoveWhereYouLIve
Yes, they were grown here at #VillaWestwyk
I hope my med techs are not ornery today (big MRI finally today!) Only thing on the calendar -- cleared everything off and will spend the remainder of the day afterwards beating up on creeping buttercup in the garden.
