Since neither ICE nor NG can actually do anything to alleviate these airport delays, having either or both on hand for weeks while delays continue can only weaken the public's sense of trust that either would be effective defenders of ballots.
The use of ICE, and now possibly the National Guard tells you how he wants to steal elections. He wants people in the public to see these groups as saviors so they'll trust them to be involved in "safeguarding" elections. But his desperation is causing him to miscalculate.
This gives Dems a HUGE opening. There should be NO give whatsoever. Stand firm on funding TSA as a stand alone measure. If GOP refuses, let him seethe in his powerlessness and impotently escalate with nothing. He just might finally cross a line he can't survive.
