you are 100% correct. that's why my plan doesn't wait for elections, and it relies on the fundamental goodness and decency of the working class. (the *whole* working class, not just one party's worth.)

Hey Ed, I'm one of your constituents and I have an idea that's quite a bit stronger than the 25th, and much more likely to succeed in a loggerheads Congress. Can I talk to one of your people please? I'm desperate to save this country but I'm just one person.

If I had a hundred volunteers who were willing to do actual political work in the US, like actually go and talk to people, I could have this nightmare over in months. That's what it would take to execute my plan, 100 ppl willing to do the work.
